Justin Gaethje broke the undefeated streak of ‘El Cucuy’ Tony Ferguson at UFC 249 and won the UFC Lightweight interim championship. With this win, Gaethje also took Ferguson’s dream to face Khabib Nurmagomedov, although he lost the fight against Khabib but following this win Khabib announced his retirement.

This took the chance from Tony to face Khabib and since then Ali Abdelaziz never misses a chance to slam the former interim champion, Tony Ferguson. Abdelaziz is the manager of many renowned fighters in UFC such as Khabib Nurmagomedov, Kamaru Usman, Justin Gaethje, Frankie Edgar, and many others. Dominance MMA is one of the top management groups.

There is no doubt in this that Ali Abdelaziz’s fighters are the most highly compensated fighters in UFC. Recently, Belal Muhammad shared a tweet jokingly asking Tony Ferguson to unblock him on Twitter. Ali Abdelaziz used this tweet and revealed that Tony’s management team tried to approach Justin Gaethje after UFC 249.

In his tweet, Ali Abdelaziz says, “Yes I have a question TonyFerguson did you know your management team tried to reach out to Justin Gaethje after he beat you’re a**? You always ending up with some fucked up people but don’t worry I will slap them for you”

Tony Ferguson is currently signed with Ballengee group and it is also one of the rapidly growing management teams as they have signed some high ranked fighters in recent times. Ali Abdelaziz claiming that they are going after Justin Gaethje is very interesting because Dominance MMA would never allow them to poach someone like Gaethje.

Justin Gaethje on his part hasn’t shown any intention of leaving Ali Abdelaziz. Now with this claim, it going to be interested to see how “El Cucuy” will respond to this.
