The 43-year-old veteran joined AEW in 2021, and his contract is set to expire before AEW All In. The former WWE Champion has made his intentions clear: to be done with wrestling completely in 2024. Khan stated that he would want Danielson to stay in AEW forever and retire whenever he chooses to. Speaking of Khan’s involvement in AEW as an on-screen character, The Elite taught him a lesson when Jack Perry returned.

I think Bryan Danielson fits on AEW like a glove. As long as he'll consider wrestling with us, that door is always open, and I would bend over backward and do anything for Bryan Danielson.

As for Danielson, he wrestled alongside Darby Allin and FTR against The Elite in the Anarchy In The Arena match at AEW Double or Nothing. This brawl broke all the parameters of chaos, as at one point the former Jungle Boy was lit on fire while Allin was hung upside down by The Elite. In the end, the notorious group won the match after the controversial star hit Danielson with a Running Knee.

Bryan Danielson talked about the atmosphere after his match against Will Ospreay

Will Ospreay is one of the best wrestlers on the planet right now, and his victory over a seasoned veteran like Bryan Danielson proved just that. Although the match ended with concern for the former WWE Champion, he tried to soak up the best moments during the match. The American Dragon expressed his thoughts about the match in an interview.

While speaking in an interview with Sports Illustrated, Danielson stated that as soon as he walked out, he could sense the atmosphere. The BCC member said that he regularly closed his eyes to fully experience the sensation. In his opinion, that was one of the best crowds he had ever worked with.

The second I walked out, I knew that the crowd was there in a way you don’t get in many matches. I don’t know if I will ever wrestle in front of a crowd like that again.

Unfortunately, Danielson lost the match to The Aerial Assasian and also took a heavy hit to his neck. Several medical personnel, including Ospreay, checked on him after the match ended.
