Spurs have had a great transfer window so far. Though they haven’t made any marquee signings like Chelsea, they have signed some talented players this transfer window. They have signed some incredible talents like Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, Joe Hart, Matt Doherty and Sergio Reguilón.

Tottenham seem to have improved a lot under Jose Mourinho. They defeated Chelsea yesterday in the EFL Cup even by benching most of their important players. Mourinho will look forward to further improve Spurs’ performance by signing Skriniar and Arkadiusz Milik.

“Skriniar would be an excellent signing,” says Paul Robinson

Former spurs goalkeeper Paul Robinson has opined that Inter centre-back Milan Skriniar would be an excellent addition to Mourinho’s squad. He further stated that Skriniar could be the solution to Tottenham’s defensive problems.

Speaking about the same to Football Insider, Robinson said, “Skriniar would be an excellent signing. He is a top-class centre-half who has a lot of experience. He is not just a very, very strong defender – he can play as well.” Robinson also believes that the partnership between Skriniar and Alderweireld would be a formidable one.

Aurier, Rose to leave and Milik to join Tottenham Hotspur

If appropriate deals can be agreed Jose is willing to let go Aurier, Danny Rose and Juan Foyth. Aurier’s performance as the right-back has been disappointing and it’s of no shock that Jose is looking forward to sell him in this window. Danny Rose who returned from a loan spell at Newcastle United is nowhere near a place in the first team.

Milik

Jose Mourinho has time and again said that they are “working very hard” to sign a player who would compete with Harry Kane for the Striker position in the playing XI. Reports suggest that Spurs have shown interest to sign Arkadiusz Milik from Napoli. Milik who arrived at Napoli from Ajax has scored 48 goals in 122 games for the Italian giants. With Harry Kane being the only specialist striker in Spurs first-team squad, Milik would be an excellent backup for the England Captain.
