The two players are among the most graceful movers on the court and have an extremely relaxed hitting motion. They’re both good at deception as well. The style of play is quite similar. However, the Taiwanese is the fitter one. This equation might be different at the moment as Tai was unwell last Sunday and could have affected her fitness and performance. Ratchanok looked in good form, unlike last week. she beat the world champion, PV Sindhu, with much ease in the semifinal. Both players have only dropped one game in this tournament. Tai’s fitness and health is a matter of concern at the moment and she probably is not at her best. This is an opportunity for Ratchnok to capitalize.
