Trans-identifying male pole vaulter Katie Spencer wins girl’s state championship event at Maine’s Greely High School. The 11-grade athlete won the event by six inches more than the closest competitor being a crucial reason for the win against Freeport High School.

Spencer defeated two girls from the Freeport High School who tied for 10-foot vaults with a 10-foot 6-inches maneuver. Spencer’s participation in the event became a game changer as the other school lost by minimal counts.

Furthermore, Katie Spencer previously participated in Greely High School’s male pole vaulting event under the name John Rydzewski. In that event, he tied for 9th place last year in Maine’s Class B state meet for boys.

Allen Cornwall, Class A coach apparently tried to warn the officials about this incident but “no one dares to address it.” There were even reports that one female participant refused to enter the event due to Spencer’s involvement.

The decision by the Maine Principals’ Association to continue allowing male athletes to compete against female athletes in school athletic competitions is outrageous. Not only does their decision violate President Trump’s February 5 Executive Order, but it jeopardizes the safety and privacy of female athletes…

Maine State Rep. Laurel Libby in a statement as per Dan Zaksheske of OutKick.com.

This goes against Donald Trump’s ban on trans athletes participating in women’s sports. It could involve serious consequences like Greely High losing federal funds for allowing male athletes to participate in women’s sports.

Coach Cornwall commented, “The punishments that they’re going to receive are just.” Laurel Libby too, urged the Trump administration to move fast and solve this issue so girls can participate in their events without fear of getting outdone by male athletes.

Donald Trump bans trans women from participation in women’s sports

Earlier this month President Donald Trump signed an executive order banning transgender women and girls from participating in women’s sports. The move was labeled the “No Men in Women’s Sports Executive Order.”

Looking back at the past few years Trump stated that it was outrageous for “men claiming to be girls” to steal victories at women’s events. He said that people who were considered male at birth would no longer be allowed to participate in women’s sports.

The radical left has waged an all-out campaign to erase the very concept of biological sex and replace it with a militant transgender ideology. With this executive order, the war on women’s sports is over.

The new order is directed to protect women’s safety and privacy at events while making sure they get a fair opportunity in sports. This move will also roll back Title IX which was issued under Joe Biden’s administration.
