The third Test match of the 2024/25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy is currently going on at the Gabba in Brisbane. Travis Head continued to haunt India with yet another century. At tea time on Day 2, Head remained not out on 103 runs off 118 deliveries with 13 boundaries in his innings. He backed up his 141 at the Adelaide Oval and the 89 in Perth with yet another sensational innings.

Head is currently one of the most dangerous batters in the world, and he takes the game away from the opposition team with his superb counterattacking skills. India has been his favorite opposition in the last two years, and he has troubled Rohit Sharma‘s team in every instance.

He smashed a century in the WTC 2023 final and the ODI World Cup 2023 final to defeat India. In the second Test in Adelaide, he single-handedly took the game away from the Indians. Now, Head has taken Australia to a position of strength and piled on the misery for the Indians. He came in to bat when Australia had lost three wickets at the start of Day 2 and did what he does best.

Meanwhile, Adam Gilchrist stated that Head always plays well against India, and he is surprised that India hasn’t attacked him at the start of the innings with short-pitched deliveries into his body. The former Australian wicketkeeper feels that Head might still score runs, but India needs to make a fixed plan and not bowl to Head’s strengths.
