Travis Hunter once again proved that he is completely smitten with the mother of his child, Leanna Lenee. The Jacksonville Jaguars WR/CB, whose rookie season was cut short after a freak injury, tattooed Lenee’s face on his chest.
Lenee gave her followers the update through Instagram on Valentine’s Day. She posted a few snippets from their recent beach trip. In one of the photos, a shirtless Hunter displayed his ink collection.
Zooming in on the photo reveals a mural of the 22-year-old’s wife and son, complemented by intricate designs crafted by an ink master.

Hunter met Lenee while playing football at Jackson State (a historically Black university). She rooted for Hunter even after he moved to Colorado to play for Deion Sanders. Hunter spent two seasons as a starter for the Buffaloes and won the Heisman Trophy.
Travis and Leanna got married in May 2025 and welcomed their first child on August 27. Aside from their day jobs, the pair also operates a YouTube channel that has over 586,000 followers.
The Jaguars announced a key update about Travis Hunter ahead of the 2026 NFL season
Days after scoring his first touchdown for the Jaguars, Hunter hurt himself in practice leading up to the Raiders game in Vegas. According to reports, Hunter had suffered a torn collateral ligament.

Shortly after, Liam Coen, the Jaguars’ head coach, declared that they had placed Hunter on injured reserve. He underwent surgery in November, ending his first year in the big league prematurely.
Several critics connected his injury to pushing his body too hard, as he wanted to play both offense and defense. The Jaguars appear to have taken a fresh resolution based on that theory.
He [Hunter] will play both sides again in 2026. [However,] the big change may come in the usage. From what I understand, they plan to play him as a full-time cornerback and part-time receiver, which is a switch from last year when he played more than double his snaps at receiver than at cornerback.
Cameron Wolfe of the NFL Network revealed
Wolfe further noted that the Jaguars plan to let at least one of Montaric Brown or Greg Newsome II walk in free agency. This will pave the way for Hunter to have more snaps at cornerback.

Before the injury, Hunter had 28 catches for 298 yards and one score in the offense. As a defender, he made 15 total tackles and 3 pass deflections.
Hunter made his mark as a two-way player in Colorado. Coach Prime made good use of his best player’s skills, other than his son, Shedeur. In Prime’s second season, the Buffs showed improvement, finishing second in the Big 12 behind BYU, who defeated them in the championship game.
It was Hunter’s final year in college football. In 13 games, he caught 96 passes for 1258 yards (13.1 yards per catch) and scored 16 total touchdowns. In defense, he racked up 36 combined tackles, 4 interceptions, 1 tackle for loss, 11 pass deflections, and 1 forced fumble. The NCAA voted him the best player in college.
Hunter was adamant about playing both sides in the NFL. Seasoned athletes like Travis Kelce and Davante Adams tried to talk him out of his stance, but Hunter stood his ground.
The Cleveland Browns were the favorites to take him as the second player in the 2025 draft. However, on day one, the Jaguars traded away the No. 5 pick, a second-round pick (No. 36), a fourth-round selection (No. 126), and a 2026 first-round pick to move up to second and select the Palm Beach native.
