Colorado Buffaloes two-way superstar Travis Hunter has big plans for his NFL debut next year since he is projected to be among the top five picks. But above all, his first priority after his draft selection would be to tie the knot with his girlfriend, Leanna Lenee. 

While Lenee has always supported the star wide receiver, she recently made headlines for appearing visibly upset after Hunter’s solid victory in the final game of the college football regular season. After that incident, many people warned Hunter about marrying Lenee, believing she was not the right partner for him.

Although Hunter previously claimed that the incident was taken way out of context, he affirmed his love for Lenee during his recent appearance on Ryan Clark’s The Pivot podcast. While expressing his love for her, he declared that the first thing he would do after his draft selection would be marry his ladylove.

“My fiancee gonna have to tell me, you know. She’s gonna be my wife at the time,” said Hunter about how he wants Lenee to help him balance football and his personal life. 

“Y’all get married in 2025,” asked Channing Crowder, to which Hunter replied, “Yup, next year.” 

The Heisman Trophy favorite claimed that he is not bothered by the hate people have been giving to his relationship as he knows how to handle trolls. He responds to the criticism and hatred of posting his ladylove on social media and simply enjoys flaunting his relationship in their faces.

This was not the first time that the Colorado two-way superstar talked about marrying his fiancee. Previously in November, he announced the date of his wedding with Lenee on his teammate Shedeur Sanders’ 2Legendary podcast.

May 24th, next year, bro. Right, around the rookie minicamp in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It’s a good venue, bro. [Leanna] wanted to have a good venue for everybody.

Travis Hunter said

The love birds had been dating for a couple of years before Hunter proposed to Lenee earlier this year in February. He plans to tie the knot with her during his rookie minicamp but may have to postpone the honeymoon because of his debut season in the NFL.

He’s undeniably a romantic, referring to his fiancee as “his woman” and expressing his desire to embark on a new chapter in life with the NFL while starting a family together.
