And when the opportunity to declare his claim to the honor presented itself on Sunday, the junior wide receiver struck the iconic Heisman pose.
In the Colorado Buffaloes’ victory over the Utah Utes, the two-way superstar showcased his brilliance and collected his third interception of the season. It happened late in the first quarter when Utah quarterback Issac Wilson attempted a pass, but it ended up being deflected into the air by cornerback Colton Hood.
The star wide receiver instantly picked off the pass and returned for 21 yards, collecting his third interception and eighth of his college career. To celebrate the pick, Hunter struck the Heisman pose, since he is also the favorite to win it, as the camera panned at him.
