Deion Sanders is one of the best to ever play the game of football. His elite athleticism and intelligence were evident as he played three different positions throughout his NFL career.
That makes the now Colorado Buffaloes head coach the best person to judge the abilities of Travis Hunter. Now another video surfaced to show just how athletic and skilled the 21-year-old is.
The video, recorded over a period of time, pans to the Colorado Buffaloes basketball practice facilities. It shows first Travis Hunter wearing a white tee as he throws a lob off the backboard and slams it down with both his hands.
The clip continues to show the star corner cum receiver, showing off his ball handling skills as well as his ability to adjust his shot while still in the air. In the second part of the clip, he is seen wearing a Buffaloes t-shirt as he attacks players on his way to the rim.

He dunked over a much taller player, that too, with both hands and even continued to hang from the rim and taunting at the same time. The clip also shows him using hesitations to create space and shoot three pointers. If anything, all of this proves Deion Sanders‘ point that Hunter is one of a kind player.
He has been the Colorado Buffaloes’ best corner and has so far been their best receiver. Playing a full game on both sides also goes to show his endurance.
Travis Hunter went to Colorado with the NFL in mind
With his light frame, and now this show of agility and skill, Travis Hunter is proving people wrong every day. But he acknowledged that he could do it as he is in Colorado. The superstar was speaking on his podcast, The Travis Hunter Show.
In between discussing several topics, he switched to talk about the NIL controversy at UNLV.
It’s not about the NIL, it’s about the NFL. If I would’ve want to go transfer somewhere else, I could’ve got a major amount of money. The NFL gonna set you for life, the NIL gonna set you for a moment. You see where I’m at, with the best coach that’s going to put me in the best situation.
Travis Hunter said
He was clear that every player’s focus should be to reach the NFL. That means they should put themselves in the best position to reach the pros.

His words give an explanation to why Travis Hunter switched from the Florida Gators to the Colorado Buffaloes. In a move that shocked the college football world, he tried to prove the point that he wanted to be in the best position to succeed.
It seems he wanted to play for a coach who would help him showcase his dual-threat abilities. The only coach who would have any idea or even want to exploit that is Deion Sanders. Anywhere else, he would be playing only one position.
