As the Kansas City Chiefs gear up for Super Bowl LIX, tight end Travis Kelce is drawing inspiration from none other than his superstar girlfriend, Taylor Swift. During a press conference on February 3, Kelce praised Swift’s unwavering work ethic and dedication.
Travis Kelce and the Chiefs are heading to the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans in five days where they’ll attempt to become the first club in the NFL history to win three consecutive titles. The Chiefs finished the season with fifteen wins, with two losses against the Buffalo Bills and the Denver Broncos. After securing the first seed, they eliminated Houston Texans in the divisional game before being crowned AFC Champions after a win over the Bills.
Speaking at the press conference, Kelce admitted that he should match his girlfriend’s energy. Taylor Swift recently concluding one of the most important tours in the history of pop culture. Despite a winless night, the fashion forward singer also channeled all the energy at the Grammys while rooting for her fellow musicians.

Kelce also fielded questions about where Swift’s family loyalties lie, given that her father, Scott Swift, has long been an Eagles fan. While Scott has yet to publicly reveal which team he’ll be cheering for on game day, Kelce remains optimistic.
I don’t know her to have the [Eagles] fandom. I know her father has the Philadelphia fandom — as an Eagles fan. I think he’ll be wearing red.

Swift has already shown immense support for Kelce ahead of the big game. She recently liked a post from the Chiefs’ official Instagram account, which featured her boyfriend arriving in New Orleans on Sunday, February 2.
If history is any indication, she will be in the stands on Sunday, just as she was last year when she brought a star-studded entourage, including Blake Lively, Ice Spice, Lana Del Rey, and Miles Teller, among others.
During the AFC Championship game on January 26, Swift was seen celebrating Kelce’s standout performance as he helped the Chiefs defeat the Buffalo Bills. Her pride was evident as she joined him on the field after the game, telling him, “I love you so much. I’m so proud of you. I can’t stand it.”
Amid confetti showers, Swift also admitted to Travis Kelce that she’s in shock at what the Chiefs had done in the game. The fairytale romance is shaping up perfectly as the showdown inches closer. As per several fans, it is expected that Travis Kelce and the Chiefs are winning the three-peat followed by an unsurprising proposal and retirement as opposed to his former words.
