Despite the overwhelming success of 'Quarterback' on Netflix, Travis Kelce turned the OTT giant down when they asked him to appear on 'Receivers.'

If there’s one thing Travis Kelce will not do is appear on Netflix’s ‘The Receivers.’ The Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro tight end reportedly has a lot on his plate already but more importantly, wants to bring home the three-peat.
Following the big success of ‘Quarterback’ on the platform featuring Chiefs Patrick Mahomes, Falcons (then Vikings) Kirk Cousins, and Commanders (then Eagles) Marcus Mariota, Netflix decided to do a docu-series on the NFL receivers. They dropped a trailer in May, and surprisingly, Kelce wasn’t part of it.
After creating a buzz in London by appearing on stage with girlfriend Taylor Swift at Eras Tour, he sat down with Will Compton for an episode of Barstool Sports Bussin With the Boys. Compton asked Kelce why didn’t Netflix’s trailer of ‘The Receivers’ feature him. Kelce revealed that he declined to appear on ‘The Receivers.’
I did get asked about it [but] I’d rather just play ball, man. I’m already doing enough with the podcast and everything [and] I’m way over the reality s**t… I’m out on that s**t.Travis Kelce said
The three-time Super Bowl winner has no intentions of appearing on a reality TV Show. His last appearance was on a dating show called ‘Catching Kelce.’
Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast goes on a hiatus
Besides being one of the best tight ends ever to play in the NFL and the boyfriend of pop icon Taylor Swift, 34-year-old Travis Kelce also made a name for himself as a podcast host. The ‘New Heights’ podcast which he co-hosts with brother Jason Kelce crossed more than twp million subscribers earlier this year and it’s growing every day.
However, season 2 of their journey will come to an end during the next Wednesday episode. Jason recently announced in another episode.
We've enjoyed a nice couple of months off from podcasting because, I guess, in three weeks' time, Travis will be in the middle of training camp. [And let me tell you], there's just not enough time to do a podcast, especially the best podcast in the world.Jason Kelce said

Although the former Philadelphia Eagles center announced his retirement after Super Bowl LVIII in February, Travis Kelce still has spring practice to attend with the Kansas City Chiefs. The NFL offseason training camp will begin at the end of July and will run until the end of August before the pre-session begins. Unfortunately, this means Kelce will not be able to attend Swift’s concerts in Amsterdam.
