After spending a summer of his lifestyle with his ladylove, Travis Kelce returns to the football field ready for the historic three-peat that his team is aiming for. Taylor Swift might not have accompanied the tight him because of her Eras Tour, but he proved that she’s always in his heart. 

The defending Super Bowl champion took the field at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla. for the first game of preseason against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Although the game didn’t go well and the Kansas City Chiefs suffered a 13-26 loss against the Jaguars, Kelce made some impressive plays.

But the three-time Super Bowl-winning TE did something before the game that made Swifties adore him once again. He formed a heart shape with his hands– a gesture synonymous with his superstar girlfriend, who always does it during her concerts. 

This adorable gesture by the tight end reflects how he misses Swift and most of all, he appreciates the love and support from the fans for coming down to support the Chiefs just like the “Midnight” singer does to show her appreciation and love for Swifties. 

After clinching the Super Bowl in February with Swift by his side, Kelce spent most of the offseason supporting her during her famous Eras Tour. As the couple traveled across Europe and Australia, their love for each other blossomed more, leading to many engagement rumors.

When the celebrity couple revealed their relationship to the public, fans noticed how protective the Chiefs star tight end is for the 14-time Grammy winner. Whether it was about holding the door for her or leading her way to a party, Kelce has a nickname of “built-in bodyguard” given by none other than Swift herself.

It turns out the 11-time Pro Bowler had made a sweet promise to the pop star that he would be her “guardian” every step of the way, as The Mirror Online reported. And of all the time they have been seen together in public, Kelce sure has kept his promise. 

A source close to Daily Mail also made a revelation regarding this by saying that Swift’s family is quite relieved by this new relationship and how much she loves the NFL star, who has literally made things easier for her bodyguards.
