Travis Kelce‘s dad, Ed Kelce is a devoted social media consumer but found himself logged out of his X account. Recently, Kelce took to Facebook to share an article that reported certain arms dealers using Elon Musk‘s platform to sell weapons. In the context of this, he pondered upon not knowing about his ‘terms of service’ violation which gave him a life ban on the platform.
Ed Kelce recently shared an article on Facebook that reported arms dealers in Yemen who sold weapons on X. The report further stated that the dealers were executing their business in the city of Sanaa, a territory held by the Houthis. With this article, Kelce questioned the terms by which the dealers were able to condone their businesses but he was not. He further shared being omitted from the platform under an all-inclusive violation of terms of service notice.
Arms dealers are free to peddle their wares on X, but I’m banned for life and they won’t say why, just a generic ‘Terms Of Service’ violation.Ed Kelce remarked on Facebook
However, there was no comment from any representative of X regarding the issue. Later, Ed Kelce remarked that he posted the comment because he was ‘pissed’ at Elon Musk’s trolls. He explained never posting on X but the officials having contradictory beliefs led them to ban him on the platform.
Let me try and clear something up here. I'm rarely on Facebook or Instagram...I posted the thing about arms dealers active on X because frankly, I was pissed at Elon's trolls. I rarely wrote anything on X; I just followed sports reporters...I was active on X/Twitter from September to February, reading others' posts. Apparently the X Twits believe I posted something contrary to their rules in May or June 2023. Never happened. I'm guessing I was hacked, as the platform isn't all that secure. My comments when I started this conversation were merely to highlight the hypocrisy of these social media turds.Ed Kelce wrote in another post
Ed Kelce criticized the lack of security on the platform which he guessed was what led to his account getting hacked. He reasoned conferring about this was only to highlight the hypocrisy of it all. The comments on his post chimed with people agreeing to the duality of censorship on social media platforms, especially X.
Ed Kelce on being featured on X despite ban
Ed Kelce recently did a campaign ad for Garage Beer alongside Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce. The ad saw him and Jason standing on either side of a cardboard cutout of Travis. Among other social media platforms, the ad campaign was promoted on X as well.
Ed Kelce took to Facebook again to make a sarcastically critical note that he could be in a video on X despite getting banned. Subsequently, the fans took the matter into their own hands and tagged Elon Musk on X, demanding answers.
The public criticized the platform owner for the discrepancies. The tweets even led to people asking Elon Musk to un-ban Ed Kelce. Despite all that, there has not been any explanation from Musk or any other representative of X.
