Gridiron is widely known for its quarterback position, which leads the entire offense and is considered the toughest position. Those who hold this position are also subject of immense glory making it arguably the best position in gridiron. However, it appears Travis Kelce disagrees with that notion as he highlighted the importance of the position he plays in– Tight End. 

The Kansas City Chiefs recently made headlines for his speech at the inauguration of Tight End University, in Tennessee, Nashville. He addressed the young aspiring tight ends with some much-needed advice for their future in the field of American football. During this, he also shared his journey to three Super Bowl rings, as a tight end.

Kelce emphasized the importance of the tight end position at the TE University event, for which he reportedly even missed his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. He expressed his love for the position and asserted it’s the best position in the field.

The nine-time Pro Bowler said a tight-end position is an all-rounded position without whom a team cannot perform well. Although the star tight end spoke from his heart, many speculate it may lead to some controversy with the quarterbacks of the leagues– not to mention Kelce’s good friend Patrick Mahomes.

Kelce indeed takes pride in his success and the position he plays in and so does his girlfriend. As she recently went viral for mimicking her beau’s football celebration during her Eras Tour, giving fans another moment to adore.

While signing So Highschool, Swift paused for a brief moment and then shot an imaginary arrow up in the sky– something Chiefs fans are well familiar with when their tight end makes a touchdown. 

The love birds are truly enjoying their romance with rumors of their Summer wedding suggesting they do not wish to keep continuing their long-distance relationship and want to take their relationship forward. However, these are mere speculations as nothing from the celebrity couple hasn’t been confirmed yet.
