While Travis Kelce’s high-profile relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift blooms with each passing day, his ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole has come forward with some stark revelations about their past relationship, which led her to avoid any form of communication with him, even in public settings.
During the recent episode of the “Unapologetically Angel” podcast hosted by basketball star Angel Reese, the American model revealed that she wouldn’t say a simple ‘hello’ to her former boyfriend and Kansas City Chiefs star tight end if their path crossed in public. The least she would do is a “head nod.”
I’ll probably hit him with, like, a head nod. That’s about it. We’ve seen each other in public spaces, but I think that we’re both aware of the nature of his new situation that there’s just no room really for us to communicate or acknowledge each other publicly without it being spun into something crazy. Just keep it moving.

The sports and entertainment journalist was referencing the Swifties as she received immense backlash since the billionaire singer started dating Kelce. For whatever reason she and Kelce broke up, and she shared being astounded by the hate she receives online.
While thinking about her own sake, she also doesn’t want to make any trouble for the three-time Super Bowl champion as the Swifties might speculate any bizarre theories if the former couple greets each other well.

Contrary to the claims of Kelce being “cheap,” Nicole also reminisced about her time with the nine-time Pro Bowler during her interview with the WNBA star. She praised him by calling him a “good guy” and also admitted that their breakup was tough for her, particularly because of all the trolls she received from the Swifties.
It was a good time. It was great. He’s a great guy. That was a good time in my life. So many lessons learned. But that’s with every relationship.

Nicole and Kelce had an on-and-off relationship for five years, from 2019 to 2022 and even though, she “never done anything to warrant that kind of backlash,” it affected her significantly. That’s why, she has chosen to keep her next relationship away from the public eye, to avoid unnecessary scrutiny and attention.
