One of the biggest highlights from the Super Bowl night in New Orleans was the heavy booing pop superstar Taylor Swift received merely for supporting her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. And the legendary tight end could only watch as fans of the opposing team targeted his ladylove for no apparent reason.
Since Kelce began dating the 14-time Grammy winner, her bodyguards have been quite relaxed as the giant footballer makes sure to always protect his sweetheart. But during the Super Bowl LIX, when he was already struggling to help his team, his frustration was compounded as he felt helpless to shield Swift from the stadium’s jeers.
“Travis was aware of Taylor getting booed and he felt helpless. Seeing the look on her face got to him,” revealed a source close to The Daily Mail.
He always protects her and it broke his heart. He was already having a tough night and the fact that the stadium was predominantly Eagles fans didn’t help. Travis knows that this hurt her and anyone can see this.

Interestingly, this wasn’t the only that upset the future Hall of Famer. The source further revealed that he was also upset by United States President Donald Trump taking an unnecessary dig at the “Lover” singer, especially when the tight end affirmed that he was honored to have him as the President despite the different political opinions of his girlfriend.
Losing the biggest game of his career that may have been the perfect ending to his illustrious career in the NFL, Kelce was also upset by “Taylor being shut out for a Grammy.” However, regardless of how February has been so far for the high-profile couple, they are happy just being by each other’s side.

Whether the ten-time Pro Bowler would consider retirement in the offseason remains to be seen, but his love story with the global star continues to blossom. He loves that she is super supportive, and he is the same with her, as they got each other’s back whatever happens. They know when to step back for each other so they can focus and be fully prepared. Their understanding of what each other needs is fantastic.
