Travis Kelce just cheekily endorsed the USA Olympics team. On Friday, June 21, the Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro tight end dropped by at London’s Wembley Stadium to support and cheer for his girlfriend Taylor Swift as she continued her Eras Tour.

Kelce enjoyed Swift’s greatest hits which included: Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince, Cruel Summer, The Man, Lover, Fearless, and a few from her new album, The Tortured Poets Department. The 34-year-old was joined by his older brother Jason Kelce and sister-in-law Kylie Kelce at the VIP suite.

They weren’t the only ones enjoying the concert. The night had a royal touch when Prince William was seen dancing to the tunes of Shake It Off on the stands. Later Swift took a selfie with the Prince, his son Prince George, and his daughter Princess Charlotte after the show ended.

Swift did not forget to invite her boyfriend Travis Kelce into the frame. She posted the photo on her Instagram which became viral like wildfire.

Amidst the joy and excitement of finding out that someone from the British Royal family is a ‘Swiftie’ people overlooked one tiny yet significant detail in the photo from Swift.

Even though Kelce is a football player, he is a sucker for any kind of competitive sport. So, he grabbed the opportunity and wore a hat with the insignia of the USA Olympic team carved on the front.

Travis Kelce has plans to win an Olympic Gold medal

The 2024 Paris Olympics will begin on Friday, July 26 and will end on Sunday 11th August. The Olympic committee wrapped up the qualification period some time ago. All the athletes are now locked for the main event in the French Capital.

Historically, the USA has been a dominant country during these games and this year they want to be crowned No. 1 in possibly all categories. The NBA is sending its best players including LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Stephen Curry per NCAA.com.

Kelce will be glued to the TV or may even pop up in Paris for a few events. However, he has set his sights on the 2028 Olympics, which will take place in the USA. It will be the first time flag football—an offshoot of gridiron football with similar rules but excluding the contact aspect—will be added as one of the sports.

Already several NFL players like Micah Parsons, and Justin Jefferson have expressed their desires to represent the USA in Flag Football. Both are under 25, and by the time 2028 rolls out, they will be close to 30. However, Travis and Jason are 34 and 36, four years from now, they will touch 40, and hence, they will not be eligible. However, Kelce has a plan that could earn them a Gold Medal.

We are just all going to be assistant coaches or something, but I need a gold medal so I have to be on that roster.
Travis Kelce said during an episode of their New Heights podcast in October 2023

Before that, Kelce needs to focus on securing the three-peat with the Chiefs. They will begin their title defense against the Baltimore Ravens on September 5.
