Travis Kelce spent the majority of the last month cheering for his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, while she toured Europe. However, it’s time for him to step back into his football cleats.
The Kansas City Chiefs began their off-season training camp at Western State University in St. Joseph on Wednesday. Veterans, including Kelce and the others, didn’t need to report because the first few days were reserved for rookies.
One by one, star players like Patrick Mahomes, Carson Wentz, and Noah Gray joined the practice. Soon, Kelce will also link up with his Chiefs teammates, as he isn’t likely to remain in Europe any longer.
According to the Chiefs’ official website, the first full-team practice is scheduled for July 21, i.e. Sunday. It’s open for the fans to come and cheer for their favorite players. The pre-season is only two weeks away, starting in August. So, Chiefs Kingdom can surely hope to see Travis Kelce lighting up the camp.
Head coach Andy Reid recently answered questions about whether Kelce’s commitments outside of the gridiron could affect his game. Reid backed the three-time Super Bowl winner.
He [Travis Kelce] can handle it [the relationship with Taylor Swift]. As a matter of fact, I think he probably loves it to a point. I think there's a great escape for him.Andy Reid said
Travis Kelce wants to win another Super Bowl to secure the three-peat
On the day the Chiefs lifted the Lombardi Trophy at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Travis Kelce proclaimed they would fight for the three-peat.
The goal [has] always been to get three. Believe it, baby, we're gonna be here next year.Travis Kelce shouted into the microphone
Even afterward, he expressed the same on various platforms.

While speaking with his brother Jason Kelce on their New Heights podcast, the 34-year-old reiterated the same.
As 92 percenters, you know we love speaking things into existence; just manifesting life on this podcast, I'm gonna [going to] win another Super Bowl. Just some of the things we like to say around here ‘[be]cause it’s possible.Kelce announced
The Kansas City Chiefs‘ ultimate goal is securing the three-peat. If they accomplish it, then they will become the only team in the NFL era to win three consecutive Super Bowls. Only the Green Bay Packers ever managed such a feat, but it was before the AFC and NFC merged to form the NFL.
The Chiefs play three pre-season games against the Jaguars, Lions, and Bears. On September 5, they kick off their quest for the three-peat in a rematch of the AFC Championship game against the Baltimore Ravens.
