The unthinkable happened. Travis Kelce perhaps has a secret admiration for Donald Trump.
This may come as a surprise for most, as he is the boyfriend of Taylor Swift. And any veteran Swiftie would vouch that the 14-time Grammy winner isn’t fond of the former US President.
That’s putting it mildly, considering the 34-year-old has spoken out against Trump several times in the past. The interesting part is that Kelce, although his actions indicate his left-leaning, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end never made any public statement against the founder of MAGA [Make America Great Again].
Yet one eagle-eyed social media enthusiast found something intriguing on Instagram. Former ESPN SportsCenter host Sage Steele shared a few behind-the-scenes photos of her trip to a UFC match back in March, which Trump attended.
Steele has also called UFC games for ESPN but never got the chance to watch fights in person. UFC chief Dana White invited her along with several others, including Joe Burrow and Nick Bosa.
A month later, X (formerly Twitter) user @lesbianforjoe shared a few screenshots of Travis Kelce leaving a heart mark on Steele’s post.
Not only that, but to prove it was the real Kelce (@KillTrav), the user then shared a short video clip. It showed the authenticity that it was the account of the three-time Super Bowl winner.
Additionally, the user pointed out that Steele used #diversity of thought, which is a whistleblower for MAGA.

When Steele was watching the UFC fight sitting beside Trump, PEOPLE reported that Kelce was attending Gucci’s 16th annual event known as “The Party” in Las Vegas.
The X user shared a short clip of comedian Andrew Santino‘s podcast in which the All-Pro tight made a guest appearance. However, this was way before he hooked up with Swift. This was a four-year-old video.
In it, Kelce can allegedly be heard making fun of immigrants who don’t have good English-speaking skills.

Kelce has the persona of a fun-loving, cheerful guy who likes to party and enjoy life. It’s part of the reason Taylor Swift fell in love with him in the first place. Apart from that, there’s also the similarity in their political views.
Travis previously became the face of the Pfizer vaccine that Aaron Rodgers discovered. Rodgers has time and again called out the nine-time Pro Bowler for his left leaning allegiances.
