Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are more than nine months into their relationship. Naturally they have long become the talk of the town as the Kansas City Chiefs superstar embraces his heightened fame. However, he also knows that his name will be talked alongside everything that his girlfriend does. Now it seems his name is even being linked to a song that she wrote.

Former NFL linebacker Will Compton, host of the Bussin’ With The Boys podcast, recently shared a tweet on his official X (formerly Twitter) account. Compton posted with a screenshot of Taylor Swift‘s song ‘Karma’ and tagged Travis Kelce there.

To this the 3-time Super Bowl champion replied with three laughing emojis, as he knew who Compton was referring to when suggesting who Karma was.

The chorus of the song starts with the line, ”Cause karma is my boyfriend“. Therefore, Will Compton was referring to Travis Kelce when he was trying to explain who Karma is.

Naturally, his two-year-old daughter would not understand the actual meaning of Karma but for her quick understanding, just as the lyrics suggest, Compton explained to her that Travis Kelce is Karma. The tight end knows that this is as hilarious as it gets, as Compton’s daughter won’t understand the actual meaning until she becomes older.

Travis Kelce was a fan of Taylor Swift’s music before knowing her

Travis Kelce was with Will Compton and former NFL tackle, Taylor Lewan, on their Bussin’ With The Boys podcast. Lewan asked Kelce to talk about his three favorite songs of Taylor Swift. In response, Kelce told the story of how he came to listen to her songs in the first place.

So, I really started listening to Taylor's music when she came out with 1989. Like I knew who she was before that. But I think 1989 was where it really started. So, I'm gonna say 'Blank Space', because that was like the 1st one. I'll go No. 2, 'Cruel Summer'. What would be my 3rd? I'll say, 'So High School'.

This means Travis Kelce was a fan of his girlfriend’s music long before he knew her. Swift has been producing music since 2006. However, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end only started listening to Swift’s music in 2014 when her album ‘1989’ came out.

Since then, she has released six albums and is now undertaking the Eras Tour to promote her latest album ‘The Tortured Poets Department’.

It is on this tour that Travis Kelce made his on-stage debut alongside his girlfriend, suggesting that it could be possible that he will feature in more of Swift’s concerts.
