Travis Kelce met WNBA sensation Caitlin Clark at the Indianapolis edition of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour
With the WNBA offseason in full swing, Caitlin Clark is taking a much-needed break from basketball. She happens to be a big fan of Taylor Swift, which led the Indiana Fever star to attend her concerts. In one of those concerts, she was a few feet away from Swift’s boyfriend and NFL star Travis Kelce.
Clippings from that Indianapolis stop of the Eras Tour were shared on social media. Many speculated about the Rookie of the Year meeting her favorite artist’s boyfriend. Considering her popularity, they might have met.
On the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, older brother and retired NFL star Jason Kelce asked about his younger brother’s break from football to watch his girlfriend perform. During that conversation, when the younger Kelce brother spoke about meeting Caitlin Clark.
Got to meet Caitlin, she’s awesome. She loves being out there in Indianapolis. Says it’s a fun city and we’re both just true Midwesterners to the heart, played high school ball, college ball, pro ball, all out here in the Midwest. It was cool catching up with her. She’s a Swiftie through and through man.

Jason asked his brother if the WNBA star had dance moves to match her highlight reel shooting. Travis stated that she was more into watching her favorite musical artist perform than showing off her moves.
Travis Kelce also revealed that Clark had taken her entire family and some friends to that concert. With plenty of time on her hands, she is enjoying everything she can before possibly playing in the Unrivaled League.
Caitlin Clark remains coy on Unrivaled League plans
During her WNBA exit interviews, Caitlin Clark mentioned she was not going to play any basketball. But recently, it came to the public’s attention that the new league was putting together a monster offer to lure her.
However, it is still unknown if she will join the league. When ESPN’s Michael Voepel asked her about it at the introductory press conference of new Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White, she did not shed any light on the matter.
We’ll see. I don’t know. Just taking it as it goes…. see if I want to play eventually.

The Unrivaled League has signed both her closest teammates Aliyah Boston and Lexi Hull. It has also signed Clark’s best friend, Las Vegas Aces guard Kate Martin. Martin’s recruitment came as a surprise as she did not fit the description of the type of players they wanted.
It further proves that the league is pulling all the stops in trying to sign the WNBA phenom. Considering the way she pulls audiences, the new league will need every bit of that fan following to be successful.
