Looks like the rumors are true! Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are potentially engaged. Since the rumors of the fairytale couple surfaced on the internet, swifties have been obsessed to know whether it is true or not.
This time, it appears true as the source is none other than a top Kansas City Chiefs executive’s wife, who was heard spilling tea with her friends in a suite. A source close to Kelce told Page Six, on the condition of anonymity, that the pop icon and the Chiefs’ star tight end are already engaged as told by the executive’s wife to her friends. This straightway contradicts the tight end’s rep’s statement denying the engagement rumors officially.
On an added note, the love birds are well known for being discreet whenever they want, given that Swift revealed she began dating Kelce way before the headlines brought their names together, during her interview with TIME last year. This means, that even if the engagement rumors are true (which pretty much seems like judging from the credible source), it wouldn’t be confirmed until they want it.
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time any such speculation about Swift and Kelce’s relationship came out. It has been going around for months, from December 2023 to be precise when Swift was spotted wearing a gorgeous ring in her birthday pictures. But those were dismissed quickly after her friend Keleigh Teller, wife of Miles Teller, revealed she gifted the jewelry to Swift.
Engagement rumors swirling around Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce
The engagement rumors once again began earlier this year in May, when a source close to Entertainment Tonight shared that the 14-time Grammy winner and three-time Super Bowl champion are doing amazing and might be getting engaged soon as their loved ones believe.
But a few days after, a source told Us Weekly that Kelce has “no plans on proposing to Taylor anytime soon,” because the tight end regards marriage very highly in his life and doesn’t want to jump right into it without being sure.
There have also been wedding rumors surrounding the celebrity couple, where the sources claim that the “Lover” singer is eager to get married and Kelce also met with top jewelry designers. Over the last few months, there have been a boatload of such rumors but not one has been confirmed by the couple.
