The Kansas City Chiefs played their final pre-season friendly against the Chicago Bears on Thursday night. However, unlike their previous game, head coach Andy Reid opted to rest starters Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Chris Jones.

Reid did not want to risk injuries to his best players because, in a few days, the Chiefs will have a rematch of the 2023 AFC Championship game against the Baltimore Ravens in week 1 of the 2024 campaign. The trio, along with backup QB Carson Wentz, enjoyed themselves in the Chiefs dugout.

While they were playing ball at Arrowhead, former Vice President of the USA Kamala Harris was formally announced as the Democratic candidate for the upcoming presidential elections in November. Kelce reportedly wanted to attend the DMC with girlfriend and pop icon Taylor Swift.

The ‘Cruel Summer’ singer recently finished her European Eras Tour and is free for the next two months. So, her showing up at Harris’ special moment wouldn’t have surprised many because Swift is one of the famous names who don’t see eye to eye with Republican candidate and former President Donald Trump.

The Taylor Swift rumors are interesting to me because I was told a couple of days ago that Travis Kelce had also reached out to the Harris campaign when it was first announced and said that he wanted to be here on the night she was speaking.
CBS News journalist Gayle King said while covering the event

King knew Kelce wasn’t playing for the Chiefs, and yet the tone of her voice gave the vibe that she wasn’t revealing the entire picture.

Will Travis Kelce visit the White House if Donald Trump wins the election against Kamala Harris?

Kelce historically leaned more toward the opposite of Donald Trump, which coincided with his beau Taylor Swift. However, unlike the multiple-time Grammy winner, the Chiefs tight end has never been much forthcoming in criticizing the MAGA head.

Kelce even said he would visit the White House if the Chiefs won another Super Bowl.

On the previous occasion, when he was on the balcony of the White House, he joked with ex-President Joe Biden after presenting him with a Chiefs helmet.

Kelce can go back again in 2025. The Chiefs definitely have the unique opportunity to bring home a three-peat if they win the Super Bowl next year in New Orleans, but even the 9x Pro Bowler knows it will not be a cakewalk.
