“It’s a love story; baby, just say yes!” Very soon, Travis Kelce could pop the big question to his girlfriend Taylor Swift. The couple that would have been dating for a year in July has been progressing quickly. 

However, given their fame and celebrity status, marriage could be complicated when the subject of finances has to be addressed. Kelce and Swift have substantial assets.

Taylor Swift is significantly wealthier when compared to Travis Kelce. Her assets run into billions, whereas Kelce, who is well off, is valued at an estimated $50 million as per CelebrityNetWorth.

The 14-time Grammy winner views Kelce as “daddy material” and has gone as far as to think about having kids with him, as per OK Magazine.

Taylor can see herself married to Travis with children. He's definitely daddy material in her eyes. That was one of the biggest attractions for her. They've grown so close in such a short amount of time. It feels so right. They're very comfortable spending time together, just the two of them.

A prenuptial agreement or prenup is an agreement entered into by a couple before legally getting married. By signing a prenup, both parties to the marriage agree that in the event of a divorce or split, neither of them would seek a share in each other’s assets. It allows the man and woman to retain their respective assets and simplifies the divorce procedure.

Of course, neither Kelce nor Swift are expecting their relationship to end with Bad Blood, so to speak, but it has become a precautionary measure, especially amongst celebrity couples. The report states that Kelce’s team has consented to signing a prenup at the behest of his business team. 

Travis has no problem signing a prenup because his business team wants to protect his assets. He'll do whatever it takes. No doubt, it will be bulletproof. It may not be romantic, but it's smart.

It is a smart move. Romance aside, prenuptial agreements address practicality in a relationship. Besides, his readiness to sign a prenup would just increase the trust between them because it puts to rest the narrative that Kelce is in it for fame, which is ridiculous to begin with because he is his own man. 

Irrespective of this, the only thing pending is for the Kansas City Chiefs tight end to propose! Swifties have already begun dreaming about their idol’s marriage and the happiness he brings to her life.
