Travis Kelce‘s girlfriend Taylor Swift has made her current political stance public. After the US Presidential debate, the Grammy award-winning singer took to social media to endorse US Presidential candidate Kamala Harris. She even had a couple of things to say about Donald Trump.

The Instagram post came days after the singer was spotted with Brittany Mahomes, who is a Trump supporter. The aforementioned post went online a few minutes after the US Presidential debate. Crediting the Democratic candidate, Swift said that Harris was a warrior who fought for the rights and causes that she believed in.

The pop singer further said that she perceived Harris to be a ‘steady-handed, gifted leader’ who could achieve great things with calm instead of resorting to chaos.

It was recently reported that Brittany Mahomes and Taylor Swift had trouble in their friendship after the former liked a post by former US President Donald Trump. The reports gained traction when Mahomes and Swift sat separately at the Kansas City Chiefs season’s opener match.

However, the rumors were put to rest when Swift and Kelce were spotted hanging out with Brittany and Patrick Mahomes at the US Open.

While the singer has never rallied against any candidate, this was not the first time Swift has publicly expressed her political opinion. Back in 2020, she endorsed President Joe Biden and Harris. She even backed U.S. Senate candidate Phil Bredesen and U.S. Rep. Jim Cooper in his 2018 re-election bid to Tennessee’s 5th Congressional District.

Donald Trump responds to Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Kamala Harris

Former President Donald Trump has reacted to Taylor Swift‘s public endorsement of Kamala Harris. After the US Presidential Debate, Trump was asked a few questions by reporters. When asked about Swift’s statement, he simply replied that he was unaware of it, according to a report by USA Today.

Political stances by celebrities like Swift could potentially change the game. She has never made controversial statements without forethought. An insight into it was seen in her documentary ‘Miss Americana‘ where she had a conversation with her father, who did not want her to speak out on political stances. The pop singer defended herself by stating that she needed to be on the ‘right side of history‘.

Trump, interesting, in a later interview stated that he preferred Swift’s friend Brittany Mahomes instead since she was a very public supporter of his. He also opined that Swift will pay a price for her endorsement of Harris.
