Travis Kelce is set to play in his fifth Super Bowl and would want nothing more than his brother and retired Philadelphia Eagles center, Jason Kelce, to root for him. The older Kelce loves his blood brother but at the same time doesn’t want to turn his back on the team he started for 12 seasons.
Jason Kelce can’t wear red when his beloved Eagles are in the Super Bowl. Even though he tried to drive attention away from his Eagles-inspired attire in the new episode of the New Heights Podcast, Travis cleverly pointed out who his brother was rooting for, between him and his former team.
During Wednesday’s segment of the New Heights Podcast, the 36-year-old Kelce talked about his complex emotions before Super Bowl LIX.

Jason Kelce revealed he struggled during Championship week
Kelce may no longer block for Jalen Hurts anymore, but he always keeps a close eye on how the Eagles quarterback is performing along with some of his favorite people in Philly. The future Hall of Famer wasn’t able to watch the Eagles play during the championship week because he was busy covering the Chiefs game against the Bills.
The All-Pro athlete ultimately decided to stick by his brother and missed out on Hurts’ match-winning performance against the Washington Commanders.
Kelce won’t mind if the Chiefs-Eagles game goes to overtime
The Chiefs-Bills game contained several stars on and off the field. Travis and his girlfriend Taylor Swift, Patrick Mahomes, and Josh Allen drew a record-breaking 57.7 million viewers for CBS Sports. But was there anyone distributing Buffalo wings at the game or during the tailgate?
If a certain condition is met at the Super Bowl in New Orleans in February, then Buffalo Wild Wings promised they would give away free wings to everyone in America. And guess what Jason Kelce said.
This is absolutely insane. Now I am rooting for overtime.

One must think that overtime in the Super Bowl may be a common occurrence; well, they would be guessing wrongly. Remarkably, only two Super Bowls have dragged on to overtime in the previous 58 times, according to Sports Illustrated.
The 2023 Super Bowl between the Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers was the latest where Mahomes threw a touchdown pass to Mecole Hardman in overtime to win his third Lombardi Trophy.
In 2017, the famous ‘21-3’ game between the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons required extra time to decide the outcome. It’s famous because the Falcons scored 21 points in the first half but still lost the game 34-28, with Tom Brady throwing for 466 yards and two touchdowns.
