The 2026 NASCAR Truck Series season opener is set to feature a special name in the driver’s line-up. Action Sport legend Travis Pastrana is set to make his stock car racing return with Niece Motorsports. He will drive the No. 42 Chevrolet Silverado with BRUNT Workwear as his primary sponsor for the first time.
It will mark his first ever start at Daytona International Speedway since the 2025 Daytona 500 weekend, where he drove for Niece Motorsports in the Trucks and drove the No:67 Toyota Camry for 23XI Racing in the Cup. His 2026 February outing will mark his seventh start in the Craftsman Truck Series. He has also made over 42 starts in the second division, with a year as full-time racer that saw him secure P14 in the championship.
Talking about the outing, 11 times X-Games gold medals winner Travis Pastrana shared his excitement and asserted that he is happy with the support from his sponsor. He is hopeful about having fun in his first start in three years in the series with a sponsor that is making its NASCAR debut.
I’m excited to get back on the track in Daytona with BRUNT Workwear and Niece Motorsports. This is my first NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race since 2023, so it will be fun to get behind the wheel again and see what we can do. It’s great to work with BRUNT for the first time in NASCAR.

Further talking about the point, Pastrana highlighted how much he enjoys the opportunity work with his sponsor that has been backing his adventures ventures for years. They have been an integral contributor to safety team for years. So, expanding that partnership for his stock car racing was no brainier for Pastrana.
They’ve been an amazing partner, getting behind all the good times and bad ideas we cook up at Pastranaland, and keeping myself and the Channel 199 crew safe and comfortable while we do it – expanding that partnership to the racetrack was a no-brainer and a great opportunity for all of us.

Niece Motorsports is thrilled about Travis Pastrana’s return
For the Truck team Niece Motorsports, it’s a great opportunity to garner more attention and sell more sponsorship with Travis Pastrana as their driver. CEO of the team Cody Efaw, who has previously worked with the veteran in his Rousch Racing days pointed out that he is thrilled about the opportunity.

Travis is one of the most genuine people you’ll ever meet, and we’re thrilled to welcome Brunt Workwear to the Niece Motorsports family. Their brand is a natural fit for who we are and what we do, and we’re excited to take the green flag together at Daytona.
Cody Efaw said.
Niece will be hoping that with the help Pastrana they can build a long-term sponsorship relationship with Brunt Workwear, which will eventually help the team to grow long-term. It would be interesting to see how everything is going to playout for the No:42 team at Daytona Craftsman Truck Series season opener.
