Trevor Lawrence recently announced that his family is getting bigger. The Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback’s wide Marrisa shared her baby bump on Instagram.
The offseason has been a delight for the 24-year-old who penned a lucrative deal, making him one of the highest earners in the NFL. Just a few days later, his wife, whom he met back in high school in 2015, got engaged in 2021 and married in 2021, announced on Friday that she is pregnant with their first child.
Marrisa posted several cute photos on Instagram with her USG results. Flanked by their two pups, the couple looked overjoyed by the news that their family was about to grow. She captioned the post, “A little Lawrence on the way.”
Marrisa has been a constant support for Trevor Lawrence
After becoming the first overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, fans expected a rapid start from Trevor Lawrence. However, the Clemson graduate rookie season did not go according to plan. He ended up with only 3 wins from 17 games, 359 completions for 3641 yards, 12 touchdowns, and 17 interceptions.
Despite the underwhelming start to her husband’s NFL career, Marrisa believed that Lawrence would turn things around as he got settled. She shared her thoughts on Instagram.
What a year babe!! Lots of highs and lows. A lot of learning. A lot of growing. A lot of adversity and newness. But there was also a lottt of good… good friendships.. Good memories. Goodness in the growth you've seen, the leadership you've learned deeper, and the adversity's [sic] you've faced that made you stronger. You are and always will be the most amazing person I know. The way you handle things and do it with so much grace and love will always inspire me.Marrisa Lawrence wrote in 2022
Since then, Lawrence has seen an uptick in his form. In his second year, he led the Jaguars into the playoffs after finishing with a 9-8 record. His confidence was on the rise and many predicted the third season would be Lawrence’s breakout campaign. However, an ankle injury hampered his performance, and the Jags missed out on back-to-back post-season football despite finishing second in the AFC South.
