Trevor Lawrence appears to be the talk of the town again as the quarterback’s failure to lead his team to victory this season is becoming quite concerning for the Jacksonville Jaguars. In week 3, the team endured another blowout match against the Buffalo Bills at 47-10, where some moves by Lawrence resulted in trolling all over social media.
After recording merely 178 yards with one touchdown and one interception, Lawrence was replaced by Mac Jones in the fourth quarter, but the team couldn’t recover against the Bills’ 47 points. However, when the 2021 first-overall pick was active in the game, one specific moment caught huge attention from fans all over the internet, where many have been calling him “broken.”
While feeling pressure in the pocket, Lawrence was hilariously seen spinning away from his own teammate which eventually resulted in him being brought down for a sack. Given, the alarming number of sacks (11) that the quarterback recorded in the last three seasons, he was a bit jumpy in the pocket.
Counting losses from last season, Lawrence has recorded eight consecutive defeats which is reflecting similarities to his bizarre rookie season that ended with a 3-14 record. In addition to that, the quarterback has recorded 61 turnovers since 2021, bringing him under intense scrutiny while sitting on the hot seat.

Although it was understandable to a certain point why the Jaguars signal-caller became more sensitive to pressure, it created a huge fuss on social media, where fans wondered what exactly was going on in Lawrence’s mind by evading his own teammate. By saying, “He is broken,” fans gave a wild reaction to X, blaming head coach Doug Pederson and offensive coordinator Press Taylor also for the move.
One fan wrote, “That ENTIRE 1st Round 2021 NFL QB draft class — 5 x QB’s taken in the top 15 — are ALL busts,” while another exclaimed, “This a different level of bad. I ain’t ever seen this.” Some fans even suggested that Lawrence should join another club in the league, where his potential can be utilized just like Zach Wilson in the Pittsburgh Steelers. Here are some of the fan reactions:
Many joked saying it seems the quarterback has seen “ghosts.” Perhaps, until Lawrence moves to another place– the hope for him to have a comeback in Jacksonville will end up in disappointment.
