Did Triple H just subtly foreshadow that WWE isn’t planning to host a WrestleMania in Saudi Arabia? While that may change with time, the WWE Chief Content Officer has dashed some hopes. The Cerebral Assassin’s address at the Crown Jewel kickoff show was hijacked by numerous crowd chants at times, most notably being of WrestleMania. The fans in there tried to get under Paul Levesque‘s skin, but he hit back savagely.
Hunter responded by saying, “Yes, WrestleMania, it is in Las Vegas, Nevada.” That ad-lib response from the 14-time World Champion was followed by loud boos. It was palpable that the local crowd wasn’t fed with something they’d hoped for—an official nod by Triple H about WrestleMania’s future in Saudi Arabia.
The topic first hit the headlines back in May this year. Turki Alalshikh, the Chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, told ESPN about his plans to sign an enhancement deal with WWE. That’s in addition to the ongoing strategic partnership that’d run through 2027.

In addition to that, Alalshikh specifically mentioned that he’s interested in bringing two of WWE’s premiere events—the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania—to Saudi Arabia. The news was met with severe criticism by fans based in the United States and the rest of the globe.
Even though WWE President Nick Khan has previously stated that WrestleMania wouldn’t be held outside of North America in the foreseeable future, the international avenues are far too lucrative to pass on either.
The company has held advanced talks with London Mayor Sadiq Khan in recent months discussing Mania’s overseas foray. The United Kingdom’s capital city now has Saudi Arabia in the running too. It’d be interesting to see who lands it first.
Triple H also cleared the air on the future of Crown Jewel titles
A major takeaway from Triple H’s segment during the Crown Jewel Kickoff was the working model of the Crown Jewel titles. The WWE HOF’er confirmed that those lustrous belts will stay in Saudi Arabia. However, the winners wouldn’t return home empty-handed.
In fact, they’d receive a Super Bowl-esque ring as a badge of victory. The Game said he’s excited to see how many rings people will collect over the years since it’s an annual event. A previous report from WrestleVotes confirmed that WWE will not factor the Crown Jewel titles into weekly storylines.

Now that the information has come straight from the horse’s mouth, it’s time to focus on the task ahead. Cody Rhodes and Gunther will vie it out for the men’s crown. Meanwhile, Liv Morgan and Nia Jax are set to assert their claim on the Crown Jewel ring as well.
