Bron Breakker finally defeated Sami Zayn and ended his 119-day title reign to become the new I.C. Champion at SummerSlam. This was his first title win since arriving on the main roster. After winning the title, he got praise from the WWE CCO, Triple H, backstage.
Triple H took to Instagram to share a congratulatory message with The Unpredictable Badass for the win. He stated that, even though Bron Breakker is unpredictable, he never doubted one thing: that he was born to dominate. In a video clip shared by Hunter, Breakker asked him whether he liked the match, to which the former replied that he loved it.
Speaking about the match, the 26-year-old star immediately looked forward to winning but missed a Spear. On the other hand, he was also cautious about Sami Zayn‘s finishing move, the Helluva Kick. The match was hard-hitting from the start, with both stars delivering their signature moves. While Breakker stunned fans with a beautiful Frankensteiner, the champ was close to winning after hitting a Blue Thunder Powerbomb.

In the final moments of the match, the former NXT Champion defeated Zayn with two devastating Spears to claim victory.
