The Unholy Union, comprising Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn, faced off against the team of Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler and the Women’s Tag Team Champions, Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair, at Clash at the Castle. The hometown girls picked up a surprising victory in Scotland and were crowned the new champions.

As he usually does, Triple H congratulated the newly crowned champions with a post on X. The Game posted a photo of himself standing alongside the tag team with their championship belts in hand. He claimed that the Unholy Union had made a statement with their massive victory in their hometown during an incredible night.

The Unholy Union had a strong showing throughout the triple threat match. During the match, Shayna Baszler locked The Storm into a botched sleeper hold, prompting Bianca Belair to make the save. The Scottish team capitalized on the opportunity. Isla Dawn rushed into the ring to suplex Jade Cargill. Further, she stole the pinfall from the former MMA fighter while her partner held others back from breaking the pin.

Later during the show, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn gave an interview with Cathy Kelley. They talked about how much the victory meant to them. The tag team claimed that their opponents had no chance of beating them. Furthermore, they planned on keeping the titles for a while.

Piper Niven pays homage to Triple H prior to her match at Clash at the Castle

Piper Niven is another hometown hero who competed at the PLE in Scotland. She faced off against Bayley for the first time with the WWE Undisputed Championship but came up short. Prior to her match, the 33-year-old made sure to pay tribute to Triple H.

Niven had a scheduled interview with Michael Cole before the latest episode of SmackDown. The Scottish wrestler came out at the Clash at the Castle Kickoff show to a huge ovation from her fans. While making her entrance, the female superstar drank some liquid from a bottle.

Piper Niven stepped to the front of the stage and spit it out in the air while spreading her arms, similar to The Cerebral Assassin’s entrance. The crowd gave her a loud cheer, and the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion let out a laugh. After the gesture, she claimed that she had always wanted to imitate The King of Kings.
