The question on almost every WWE fan’s mind is how can Triple H and WWE deal with the Kevin Owens problem. The Prizefighter has run loose in the last couple of months, delivering banned wrestling moves on two of the company’s biggest stars, Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes. At Saturday Night’s Main Event, an altercation between the WWE CCO and Owens occurred. This led to speculation among fans regarding a possible match between the two.
Triple H, who last competed in 2020, retired from wrestling after suffering heart failure in 2021. Although Hunter has explicitly confirmed he would not return, fans continue to fantasy book matches involving him. In the latest saga of the chapter, Dr. Chris Featherstone reported that HHH is not planning on wrestling again. Moreover, he refuted any rumors of a potential match between Triple H and Owens.
While there are slim to none chances that he wrestles again, the former WWE Champion can still play a major role in the storyline. Due to Owens’ aforementioned actions, Triple H could levy a heavy fine or punishment on the former Universal Champion. Other than that, the King of Kings might have to separate Owens from both Rhodes and Orton.
Amid the ongoing transfer window, Triple H can order SmackDown GM Nick Aldis to send Owens to Raw. Albeit this would not sit well with the 40-year-old star, it might help in defusing the situation for a while. Following Saturday Night’s Main Event, Kevin Owens has proclaimed himself as the ‘real’ WWE Champion. Needless to say, it will take a lot of effort and convincing to ensure that Owens doesn’t cross another line again.
Triple H makes bold promise to fans ahead of Netflix move
Aside from dealing with talent like Kevin Owens, Triple H and WWE are preparing for their $5 billion Netflix move. On January 6, Monday Night Raw will officially move to the streaming giant, which will mark the premiere episode as well.
Ahead of the historic night, WWE held a kickoff event at its headquarters on Wednesday afternoon. Among the attendees was Triple H, who provided his thoughts on the current landscape of the promotion. Speaking about the Netflix move, the fourteen-time World Champion vowed to bring never-seen-before content on fans’ screens.
So far, they have jam-packed the debut episode. Three matches, worthy of PLE main events, have been confirmed to take place on the show. In addition to that, the likes of The Rock and John Cena are expected to appear while Travis Scott will perform live.
