SummerSlam 2024 was full of surprises. It featured many surprise appearances such as Jelly Roll, Machine Gun Kelly, and of course, the much-anticipated return of Roman Reigns. Another familiar face that was present in the audience during the show was Stephanie McMahon. There have been a ton of rumors about her role in the company over the past few weeks, which were finally addressed by WWE CCO Triple H.

During the post-show press conference, the Cerebral Assassin addressed McMahon’s current role in the WWE after her appearance at SummerSlam. From being a model for WWE merchandise to serving as the Chairman and co-CEO of the company, she has worked in various roles throughout her career. However, Paul Levesque revealed that she did not have an official role with the company at the moment.

Hunter said that his wife was loving professional wrestling once again. She enjoyed watching and coming to the shows. This was likely the reason for her being spotted at back-to-back WWE shows a month ago. She was only there to be by her husband’s side as he booked and wrote the shows.

Right now her official role is she's enjoying our kids getting too old too fast. But we'll see, we'll see what the future holds. I would expect to see her around because she loves it and she's enjoying being around it again.

Triple H added that his wife was currently focused on their family and raising their children. The couple has three daughters, who have all entered their teenage years. However, the Game said he expected to see her around in the future. Stephanie McMahon loved the business. It has been her whole life and she was enjoying it once again.

Triple H discusses WWE’s working relationship with TNA

When WWE officially began working with TNA, it was a shock to many fans. Such a partnership would have been nearly impossible during the Vince McMahon era. However, it was now a reality. During the SummerSlam post-show conference, the King of Kings talked about the partnership at length.

Triple H said that WWE was open for business. This could be in the form of NXT and TNA or other international opportunities. They took a look at what was best for the company, how it benefitted WWE, and how it benefitted the other company. Talking specifically about TNA, he thought that many wrestlers over there needed bigger opportunities. 

When you look at TNA, a lot of those kids are young and they need repetitions and they need opportunities to go do, and we can only create so many of them, so when we can partner with others, help their business at the same time, get them on a platform that is seen by so many more people, use the strength and the power of our brand across social media to help them, I think you’ll see more of that.

Hunter said that he had the opportunity to help those rising stars by getting them on a bigger platform and using the strength of the WWE brand to help them out. He said that the WWE Universe will likely see more such things happening in the future.
