Fans are eager to see how WWE navigates its first major show since acquiring AAA during WrestleMania 41 weekend. The card promises plenty of high-flying lucha libre, with no shortage of entertainment inside the ring. Now, with WWE steering the ship, all eyes turn to Mexico City as Triplemanía XXXIII prepares to take over. But the real question for Triple H is how much of AAA’s unique identity will remain intact.

For those unfamiliar, Triplemania has always been a spectacle unlike any other, balancing brilliance, chaos, and the kind of wild unpredictability that makes lucha libre so beloved. Ahead of the blockbuster event, WWE’s Chief Content Officer addressed the AAA locker room, assuring talent that the Stamford-based promotion isn’t here to strip away their signature style, but to help elevate it to new heights.

Triple H was joined backstage by Shawn Michaels, Nick Khan, and AAA’s Dorian Roldán, who emphasized that WWE has no intention of changing AAA’s product, only strengthening it and expanding its global reach.

Just wanted to take a second to address all of you and tell you how excited we are to be here….I want to make sure everyone understands that we’re not here to change this. We’re not here to take this over. We’re not here to make it something different. We’re here to do this with you, to enhance what you do, and make it grow beyond anybody’s wildest dreams. Let’s take on this tonight and build on it from here… let’s dream big and go to work to make this everything we want it to be.

Apart from this, Triplemania XXXIII opened with a star-studded ceremony as Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Nick Khan, and Dorian Roldán joined Marisela Peña and Grupo Caliente’s Executive Chairman Alberto Fasja for the Mexican National Anthem.

Before the action kicked off, fans were treated to a special moment when HHH stood alongside The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels, seemingly recreating their legendary WrestleMania 28 closing scene, a whole 13 years later. The real-life Mark Callaway even took to X to share the moment, writing: “What a ride it’s been with @ShawnMichaels & @TripleH … and it’s far from over. Looking forward tonight! #TripleMania.”

Capping off the spectacle, the main event will see El Hijo del Vikingo defend the AAA Mega Championship in a blockbuster four-way clash against Dominik Mysterio, El Grande Americano, and Dragon Lee.

Triple H looks noticeably leaner on vacation with Stephanie McMahon after heart procedure

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were spotted enjoying a family getaway in Mykonos, Greece, ahead of WWE’s upcoming European tour. The power couple, joined by their three daughters, were photographed by TMZ relaxing on a yacht during their vacation. The rare sight of the WWE executives in swimsuits quickly sparked fan reactions online.

Some noted that the Hall of Famer appeared to have put on a little weight and lost some of his trademark muscle mass. However, others came to his defense, pointing out that the 56-year-old still looks better than most men in their 30s, especially considering the serious heart condition he battled a few years ago.

McMahon, meanwhile, drew widespread praise for her physique, even receiving a compliment from Liv Morgan, who said: “Stephanie has always been a babe.”

In her recent podcast episode with John Cena, McMahon reflected on the emotional toll of Triple H’s health scare. She revealed that for much of her life, she carried an uneasy feeling that she might lose her husband far too soon. That fear nearly became reality in 2021 when the real-life Paul Levesque suffered a severe cardiac event that required surgery to save his life.

She explained that once he recovered, that lingering fear finally faded. Since then, McMahon has made it a point to be by Triple H’s side both personally and professionally. She was recently seen with him at SummerSlam and also attended Hulk Hogan’s funeral, showing the strength of their bond as a couple who continue to stand together through both challenges and milestones.

Triple H was also recently spotted alongside U.S. President Donald Trump as he signed an executive order reinstating the Presidential Fitness Test. At the same time, ‘The Game’ has been busy on the business front, reportedly leading WWE’s counter-programming strategy against AEW. One of his biggest moves includes planning Cena’s farewell match to go head-to-head with AEW’s Worlds End event this December.
