WWE is riding a high wave right now and is fully utilizing it to cross over with several mainstream celebrities and other sports stars. The latest episode of the show emanated from the Angels of the Winds Arena in Everett, Washington. The arena is, of course, very close to the home of the Seattle Seahawks and was attended by one of the team’s stars, Dekaylin Metcalf. Triple H showed his gratitude to the 26-year-old by presenting him with a customized championship belt.
The King of Kings uploaded a video on his X account of himself meeting DK Metcalf backstage at the latest episode of Raw. He greeted him and handed the wide receiver his customized belt, which featured a Seahawks logo marked with the iconic blue and green colors. The former WWE Champion had a conversation with Metcalf, asking about how the season was going. It was clear that the NFL star respected Hunter a lot, too, referring to him as “sir.”
For several years now, the Cerebral Assassin has started a tradition of gifting customized belts to various celebrities who attend his shows. Metcalf just became the most recent athlete to be added to this elite club inaugurated by the WWE Champion.

Several other NFL stars have also attended WWE shows in the past. Ryan Clark stated a few months ago that the atmosphere at a WWE event was like nothing he had ever witnessed before. Tyrese Haliburton is also a well-known fan of the promotion. He also revealed his top 5 superstars in the company a while back.
Triple H says WWE moving to Netflix from 2025 is the next big evolution for the company
WWE is moving its flagship show, Monday Night Raw, to Netflix beginning in 2025. This move is part of a greater deal worth $5 billion. At the Survivor Series: WarGames post-show press conference, Triple H commented on the company returning to Canada, and their eventual move to Netflix.
The Game said that the WWE has been trying to expand globally as much as possible. This is evident by the sheer number of international PLEs that the company has held in the past few years. Their deal with Netflix will help them further this agenda. He even called this move the next big evolution of WWE.
Hunter said that from 2025, 80% of the globe will get to witness WWE programming on Netflix. This includes Raw, SmackDown, NXT, and all Premium Live Events. This also includes Canada, where the Survivor Series took place. He could not emphasize enough how much of a game-changer this was, and he seemed very enthusiastic about this move.
