WWE is keeping pace with the trend. The company has acknowledged the major uptick in live-stream popularity across social media these days. With that being said, earlier today, WWE CCO Triple H FaceTimed IShowSpeed while he was live on YouTube from Uruguay. After inquiring about the 20-year-old’s whereabouts, The Game extended an invitation to Speed.

The real-life Paul Levesque asked Speed if he’d come over to Indianapolis on February 1—for WWE Royal Rumble. Not only that, The Cerebral Assassin granted him permission to live stream the PLE. Moreover, Hunter has bestowed exclusive backstage access to Speed, which will allow the streamer to meet the WWE Superstars.

Levesque even gave the internet sensation the leeway to shoot in the gorilla position—from where the WWE shows are monitored. Learning all the perks he’s entitled to, IShowSpeed confirmed that he’ll be there. It would mark Speed’s third WWE appearance. His first one came at WrestleMania XL, where he was disguised as a giant PRIME bottle.

However, Randy Orton soon exposed him, and RKOed the YouTuber on the commentary desk. Speed next appeared on WWE programming on the 2024 Draft edition of Monday Night Raw. He accompanied the then-US Champion Logan Paul and helped announce some draft picks. Likewise, WWE may use him on-screen at the Royal Rumble too next weekend.

However, that’s not certain. The first big-4 WWE PLE of 2025 is a stacked affair. The men’s Rumble will be headlined by the likes of John Cena, Roman Reigns, and CM Punk, just to name a few. As for women, Charlotte Flair has already announced her long-awaited return. She’ll directly enter the field that’s rumored to incorporate a Becky Lynch comeback as well.

Has Triple H’s regime nurtured a soothing backstage environment in WWE?

Ever since taking over the creative reins of WWE from Vince McMahon, his son-in-law, Triple H, has done significantly well. Apart from long-term storylines becoming a highlight of his era, The Game has also fostered a healthy backstage environment across the company.

It nudges the wrestlers in a positive way, and that’s what eventually matters. Recently, The Undertaker talked about the same on his podcast. He attended the Netflix premiere of Raw and reviewed the show in its entirety.

He also underscored the dichotomy between how WWE shows used to feel back in the day when Vince was in charge of things and how they are today. The Deadman credited Paul Levesque for easing things up with the talent. As a result, there’s more trust among the superstars in his way of booking things.
