Kevin Owens has been on a warpath since turning heel against Cody Rhodes last October. Since then, he has feuded with The American Nightmare, Sami Zayn, and more recently, Randy Orton. Owens was upset with Orton for openly supporting his protégé. The Viper recently returned at the Elimination Chamber PLE and attacked him.

After their heated confrontation on the latest episode of SmackDown, a WrestleMania match between Randy Orton and Kevin Owens was inevitable. Triple H announced on X that the 40-year-old star is more vicious and determined than ever against an in-form Legend Killer. Ironically, the two entered last year’s WrestleMania as allies in a triple threat match against Logan Paul, but now they are rivals.

Orton opened the show in Bologna, Italy, as the crowd welcomed him by singing his theme song. Kevin Owens soon interrupted him, explaining that he was trying to save the 14-time world champion from returning to a dark place. The Canadian star then suggested moving past their feud and teaming up for the tag team titles.

We’ve seen an even more determined and vicious Kevin Owens…and a return to form for Randy Orton. There is only one place left for them to fight… WrestleMania.

Since his return from a hiatus caused by Owens’ brutal piledriver, the 14-time world champion has admitted to hearing voices again. Fans are excited and speculate that the ruthless version of Orton, who once kicked opponents in the head for fun, might return. Only time will tell who will emerge victorious at the Showcase of the Immortals.

Randy Orton has an opportunity to surpass Hulk Hogan with a win over Kevin Owens at WrestleMania

Randy Orton has established himself as a WWE legend, and his legacy continues to grow. His name is on nearly every record. With another win at WrestleMania, The Apex Predator could surpass Hulk Hogan. He will face his former friend Kevin Owens at the Biggest Stage of Them All.

If Orton defeats The Prizefighter at WrestleMania, it will be his 9th win at the event, surpassing legends like Hogan and Bret Hart. Although his WrestleMania record is still negative at 8 wins and 11 losses, much of it is due to his long career as a heel.

This will be Orton’s 20th WrestleMania appearance, the third most by any wrestler, behind The Undertaker (27) and Triple H (23). If The Legend Killer continues wrestling for a few more years, he could surpass his mentor and approach The Deadman’s record. Legends like Taker, Hunter, and Cena have more WrestleMania wins than Orton—a record he hopes to break soon.

Kevin Nash suggests that Randy Orton should turn heel and join John Cena and The Rock

Cena’s heel turn at the Elimination Chamber PLE stunned fans worldwide. He betrayed Rhodes and brutally attacked him under The Rock’s influence. Only a few expected the company’s biggest babyfaces to turn heel in 2025. Now, WWE legend Kevin Nash has proposed an idea that could shake the wrestling world.

On the Kliq This podcast, the former NWO member suggested that the 14-time world champion should embrace his dark side. He said Orton would be a strong addition to the heel duo of Cena and The Rock. The Legend Killer has been a face for nearly five years. His last heel run was in 2020, during which he won the world title.

Have Randy Orton join Cena and The Rock. It would be a copycat now, but I mean, if you gave it a package, you know… I don’t think Travis Scott’s the right guy to be out there as the third.

Many fans found this idea exciting and suggested that Cena and Orton should become world champions under The Final Boss’s leadership. Although it’s unlikely to happen, the mere thought has thrilled the WWE Universe.
