Triple H has been at the helm of WWE creative for over two years now. He has been doing an incredible job as WWE CCO, being the mind behind the incredible success of the on-screen product. Recently, The Game was interviewed, during which he made some shocking comments about his experience of running WWE from behind the scenes.

Speaking with Greg and The Morning Buzz, the former WWE Champion revealed that many of his friends, who are former WWE wrestlers, have voiced their complaints about the current product. He added that if he were to run the shows as per his own preferences, there might not be any audience interested in the product.

I can’t control that. I learned this 30 years the hard way. It is in no way shape or form about what I want. It’s about what they want. If it becomes about what I want, then the show will die.

While Triple H admitted the complaints are justified sometimes, he emphasized his focus on catering to the young audience. He said that the things that were popular three decades ago may not necessarily be popular today. Therefore, with time, everyone needs to adapt to the changes. He focuses on bringing the best product that adapts to that change of time and perception.

Moreover, the business itself is thriving, capturing global attention like never before. One of the most notable developments is WWE’s upcoming move to Netflix.

Triple H addressed the streaming issues on Netflix

It drew concerns from the WWE Universe, which was excited for Raw’s move to Netflix. Speaking on Greg and The Morning Buzz, The Game said that he has no issues with the buffering if Raw’s debut on Netflix is able to garner 60-70 million viewers. He added that at the time of the live streaming of Paul vs. Tyson, he was in a plane. Therefore, he found the buffering normal until he saw the buzz on the internet.

If our first night buffers and they come and say it was 60-70 million households watching, I’ll be good with the buffering.

Besides, there were some reports that suggested that Netflix would work on fixing the streaming issues by the time Raw debuts on the platform. It will be interesting to see how things are going to be managed in the time to come. That being said, WWE and Triple H have started their preparations for the grand debut on the streaming platform.
