Former AEW World Champion, Chris Jericho, was recently announced as the next guest on Stone Cold Steve Austin’s WWE Network podcast – Broken Skull Sessions. Jericho’s appearance on a WWE show immediately broke the internet as soon as it was announced.

Chris Jericho is a former WWE Superstar, and currently works with WWE’s biggest competitor, All Elite Wrestling. The WWE Universe started reacting to the news and even Triple H shared his opinion on the same.

Triple H recently sat for a conference call ahead of NXT TakeOver: Stand and Deliver, where the topic of Chris Jericho’s upcoming appearance was brought up. The NXT boss mentioned that WWE is always open for business and even Vince McMahon is adamant about the same.

“We’re open for business. We’ve said it a million times on things. Vince has been very adamant about that. We’re open for business, whatever is best for business for WWE. Whoever that is.”

Triple H admitted that he had no idea about Chris Jericho’s appearance. It was on the conference call itself that he learned about Jericho being the next guest on Broken Skull Sessions. But he claimed that he wasn’t surprised by the decision.

Hunter believed that there was a pre-conceived notion regarding WWE CEO and Chairman Vince McMahon’s approach towards ex-WWE stars. Many former WWE stars receive heart-warming phone calls from McMahon even after they leave WWE.

“People make comments about people that leave and that they received a nice call from Vince or whoever it is. That’s not shocking to me at all. The perception and the creation of what people believe in their heads when they have zero knowledge of it personally is amazing sometimes. The fantasy world that is created. It’s not shocking to me in any way.”

The Broken Skull Sessions featuring Chris Jericho will air on 11th April on Peacock and the WWE Network.
