NXT’s Vengeance Day PLE is now in the books. The main event of the show saw Giulia retain her NXT Women’s title in a chaotic Fatal 4-way match against Bayley, Roxanne Perez, and Cora Jade. A few seconds later, the brand-new NXT Women’s North American Champion, Stephanie Vaquer, interrupted Giulia as they stood in unison.
Lead commentator Vic Joseph had barely touted NXT’s women’s division as the world’s best before it got even better. Jordynne Grace made her first NXT appearance ever since signing an official five-year WWE contract. Grace, Vaquer, and Giulia came face-to-face with one another as a 4,000-strong CareFirst Arena rang out with “holy sh*t” chants. Seeing the landscape change drastically, Triple H took to X.
The WWE CCO deemed Grace’s arrival as a paradigm shift for NXT’s women’s division. Speaking of her next move, The Juggernaut looked at the camera and declared that she’ll be on NXT this Tuesday. It’s merely a formality at this point, and Jordynne has her sights set on Giulia‘s title.
Earlier this month, Grace entered the 30-woman Royal Rumble match. In its lead-up, she tried to ruse the fans by claiming that she’d be with her mother on the same night for her birthday. However, as everyone learned, the 28-year-old was just aiming to preserve her WWE surprise. And when that ambulance siren hit at the Rumble, a record-breaking crowd at Lucas Oil Stadium popped big.
The former three-time TNA Knockouts World Champion drew #19, and she clocked over 23 minutes before being tossed out by Giulia herself. They’re now on a collision course and expected to beef up their differences en route to WrestleMania 41.
Did Ricky Starks show up at NXT: Vengeance Day?
In the hours prior to Vengeance Day, there was a lot of talk circled around Ricky Starks potentially appearing on the show. However, minutes before the PLE went live, The Absolute One posted a 31-second-long clip on X, addressing his invasion of NXT last week.

He said he’ll be watching the event on Peacock, which eventually ruled out his involvement at Vengeance Day. Starks later confirmed that he’ll sign his NXT contract in the middle of the ring on NXT this Tuesday.
The 34-year-old left AEW this past Monday after a lengthy stalemate with the company. In the process, the Stroke Daddy arguably became the hottest free agent in the market. WWE didn’t waste a single minute and allegedly fast-tracked his debut once he got rid of All Elite Wrestling.
