All hell broke loose after Saturday Night's Main Event went off air. Triple H almost got into a fight with Kevin Owens.

Like a sore loser, Kevin Owens once again took Cody Rhodes out from behind. After succumbing to a pinfall loss to The American Nightmare at Saturday Night’s Main Event, Owens had to pull a trick. He blindsided Rhodes and nailed him with a package piledriver. Cody received immediate medical attention, and in the meantime, KO exited with Cody’s one-night special edition of the winged eagle WWE title.
While Owens was basking in the disdain of the WWE Universe on the ramp, Triple H stormed out of gorilla and got into a heated confrontation with Kevin. The two almost ended up brawling, with both shoving each other many times. Somehow, the referees pulled them apart. After that, Hunter went on to check Rhodes while Owens headed backstage with the winged eagle title.
WWE has also released exclusive footage of what transpired thereafter. As mentioned above, after getting his skull driven into the canvas off Kevin’s piledriver, Cody was attended upon by the medical personnel. The Prodigal Son couldn’t move on his own and had to be escorted out of the arena onto a stretcher.
A number of officials meticulously carried the WWE Champion to an ambulance under SmackDown GM Nick Aldis‘ surveillance. Fortunately, The Prizefighter couldn’t make a beeline to Rhodes. As a result, the former AEW EVP was sent to a local hospital where he’d be looked upon for potential injury concerns.
What a rollercoaster ride it was for Dusty’s baby boy at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Even though he had the honor of wearing the iconic winged eagle WWE title after being permitted by Triple H, it went downhill in a hurry. Owens made sure Cody’s dreamy folklore ended up a creek without a paddle.
Randy Orton suffered the Cody Rhodes fate way before Saturday Night’s Main Event
In a span of two months, Kevin Owens has violated the WWE policy twice. He used the piledriver, a move that the company outlawed in 2000, first on Randy Orton, and now he has done it on Cody Rhodes.
The Viper bore the brunt of the Canadian a few weeks ago on SmackDown. Their match at Crown Jewel never got underway. In fact, Owens and Orton got into a pre-match skirmish. At the end, it was KO who stood tall. The following SmackDown was where things ran out of control.
Kevin did the unthinkable when he hit Randy with the piledriver. And just like Cody, The Apex Predator had to be hospitalized as well. At one point, Rhodes and Orton were the running mates of The Prizefighter. However, it has now boiled down to this.
