WWE star Zelina Vega recently appeared on Lilian Garcia’s Chasing Glory. In the interview she discussed various topics. She opened up about her engagement to Aleister Black and also the biggest opportunity in her WWE career so far. 

Not many know that Zelina Vega and “The Strikig Man from Amsterdam” Aleister Black have been married since the last two years. It was a secret wedding. But the word of the ceremony spread around fast. She recalls how her and Black’s former boss at NXT, Triple H reacted to the news.

Vega recalls that how when she first broke the news to The Game, he couldn’t believe it. He was like, ‘Wait, you guys are together?’ I was like, ‘Yeah, we’re getting married.’ He was like, ‘Wait? So you and Andrade…’ He was so confused. I was like, ‘No, that’s just the storyline.’

Hunter said, ‘Well, you fooled me. My babies are getting married; this is so cool.’ He was so happy and so supportive.” She mentioned that the duo looks up to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon as their parents.

Vega’s opportunity at Clash of Champions

The WWE Universe knew Zelina Vega as the wrestler who managed Andrade and Angel Garza. But she got the opportunity of her lifetime. She went one-on-one against the WWE Raw Women’s Champion Asuka, at Clash of Champions.

She mentioned in great detail that how well she and Asuka worked together. Not only at the PPV but also on the Raw episode – the following night. Recalling how proud she was of herself, she mentions, “If you can accomplish what you wanted to and be able to handle yourself as a professional, that’s what I was really the most proud of, for sure.”

Zelina Vega has been missing from WWE TV since couple of weeks. While Asuka will be facing WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion at Survivor Series. She has also been challenged by Retribution member, Reckoning.
