The game between the Miami Heat and the Chicago Bulls got postponed on Thursday night. While the players were out on the court for their warm ups before the postponement of the match, some interesting conversations took place in the studio. One of the topics was about WNBA star A’ja Wilson and Heat center Bam Adebayo.

Bam Adebayo may not boast the same accolades as his girlfriend but has made three NBA All-Star appearances and was selected in the NBA All-Defensive First team in 2024. Adebayo was picked as the 14th overall pick by the Miami Heat and has made it to two NBA Finals in his career in 2020 and 2023. Both of them have two Olympic Gold medals to their names.

During the program “The Association” with host MJ Acousta Ruiz, Tristan Thompson and Cuttino Mobley, the trio spoke about the power couple. Thompson’s comments were quick to go viral on social media.

Their kid better be an NBA player. He better not be putting up boxes in FedEx, because he’s gonna be so tall. If he gets his Mamas talent and his Dads toughness, it’ll be one of the greatest of all time.

Thompson’s prediction of their future child may have been weird but it was hilarious at the same time. Wilson was in attendance for the game to show support for Adebayo, but unfortunately, the match never took place.

The two of them are still in the prime of their careers, with Wilson capable of winning more championships before she calls time on her career, while Adebayo may not be playing for a team contending for a championship this year, they remain in the hunt for another playoff appearance as they currently sit at seventh in the Eastern Conference standings.

Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls game postponed

The clash between the seventh and tenth seeds in the Eastern Conference never got underway on Thursday night because of condensation on the court. The game was supposed to take place at the United Center but an NHL game took place on Wednesday on ice. After an unseasonably warm, rainy day in Chicago, the basketball court wasn’t in playable condition.

The players were out there for their pregame warm-up routines, but tip-off never happened as the court was deemed unsafe for any action. It was supposed to be their second meeting in Chicago after the Heat blew the Bulls 143-107 in their first meeting of the season. The two are scheduled to clash two more times this season in Miami.

A makeup date has not been announced yet, as the Heat are not scheduled to play in Chicago again for the rest of the regular season. Both teams’ fans will be hoping the match is scheduled soon, considering their positions in the Eastern Conference standings, and both remain in the hunt for playoff qualification.
