Music and basketball have always seemed to have a way of connecting and it wasn’t any different when singer R Kelly was mentioned in the conversation. This was revealed on an episode of Gil’s Arena hosted by Gilbert Arenas.
During the conversation on the podcast, Rashad McCants and popular rapper Symba revealed a hilarious story of how R Kelly “dominated” on the court when he had the opportunity to play with him. His dominance style involved getting passes from other players as he appeared to be the team’s designated shooter.

His story is similar to that of rapper P Diddy who was recently arrested. P Diddy’s parties, where lots of stars attended, has been put on the spotlight as well as Lakers legend LeBron James‘ alleged connection with him.
Popular parody account on X plays a joke on Josh Giddey
In what was a wild joke that stirred up a frenzy, a viral tweet recently claimed that NBA player Josh Giddey purchased R Kelly’s Chicagoland mansion for $15 million. The tweet added a level of irony as it coincided with his arrival in Chicago for the Bulls from the Oklahoma City Thunder.
It was a matter of damage control as the rumor quickly spread online and drew public attention during Giddey’s transition to a new team. At the time of writing this article, the post has garnered 3.5 million views with about 37k likes on X.
Unfortunately, it was flamed by Giddey’s past allegations where he was accused of dating an underage girl. Later charges were dropped, and he wasn’t fined.
Despite the rumors, his focus is solely on basketball, and free from every form of distraction, as he finished his third season with the Oklahoma City Thunder where he, unfortunately, experienced a dip in performance, as he averaged 12.3 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 4.8 assists.
