It appears the Miami Dolphins indeed made the right decision by signing their quarterback in a lucrative extension, making him one of the highest-paid quarterbacks. Tua Tagovailoa has never been seen as fired up as he was at the training camp this morning.

A video has gone viral on the internet from this Sunday (28 July) morning’s training camp shared by the official social media handle of the Dolphins, where the quarterback can be seen hyping up the crowd, which had an open invitation for the fans. As he finished, the crowd cheered altogether chanting his name, “Tua Tua!”

Seeing the stadium almost filled with fans sporting teal t-shirts cheering for the players in the training camp, Tagovailoa grabbed the mic and addressed them himself.

I tell you what, show me the money! On behalf of the Miami Dolphins organization, thank you. We're going to need you guys to hype us up. It's hot out here, and keep the chants going, let's go!
Tua Tagovailoa said followed by a huge round of applause from the audience.

As the signal-caller appreciated the fans for being there, he seemed to have become the fans’ favorite. And in terms of his performance, the Pro Bowler has been improving his game with each season. Before landing the lucrative deal, he posted 4,624 passing yards and a career-high touchdown passes of 29.

Tua Tagovailoa joins elites with record-breaking extension

When the quarterback said “Show me the money,” he was referencing his recent mammoth deal with the Dolphins for a four-year extension worth $212.4 million with an average annual salary of $53.1 million. With this deal, he has become the fourth highest-paid quarterback in the league.

Tagovailoa has now joined the list of Trevor Lawrence, Joe Burrow, and Jordan Love– who recently signed a record-breaking deal worth $220 million. Many thought the delay in the extension was because of Tagovailoa’s history with injuries.

But at last, Miami rewarded him the deserving money with a $167 million guaranteed. They can potentially end the deal after the 2026 season when he had been paid $152 million with due money of $19.8 million.
