“Man going down the Antonio brown path” – Tua Tagovailoa failing to handle criticism about the safety in Cardinals loss has fans convinced he has CTE

Tua Tagovailoa didn’t deny that the third-quarter safety played a big part in the Dolphins’ loss to the Cardinals last week. Yet he seemed annoyed by fans pointing out his role in the build-up to the safety.
Tagovailoa returned to play football after finishing his concussion treatment, which he sustained in week 2. The fifth-year starter received clearance from the doctors to resume football. However, his rookie mistake handed the Cardinals the win.
After practice on Wednesday, Tua faced the media and addressed the elephant in the room. He started off by explaining the scenarios leading up to the safety. It occurred after he mishandled the snap even though the Pro Bowler claimed his vision was top-notch.

However, right after defending himself, Tagovailoa pointed fingers at fans who blamed him.
Football fans speculate a change in Tua Tagovailoa’s behavior following the concussion
It was Tua’s first game back since the concussion, but a 20-10 lead through the third quarter proved the old Tua was back until he fumbled the snap, which led to the safety. The fumble proved to be costly as the Cardinals snuck in a come-from-behind win.
Tagovailoa threw for 234 yards and a touchdown, but it wasn’t enough to secure their third win of the year. And after he called out the fans for criticizing the play, they think Tua is slowly beginning to show signs of CTE.

Of course I couldn't, I'd like to see you do what I do on a day to day basis. We have different jobs that we've both trained most of our lives for.
Woah woah. Let’s take it easy on the guys sitting on the couch eating chips. They could end up being your left guard one day… https://t.co/JygAQJhq67

While I get the sentiment & most of us cannot do what he does… Don't love the growing trend of athletes hitting media/fans with the "you're sitting on the couch eating chips" thing every time they're criticized. https://t.co/qEyQCZohnf

I understand when players feel this way, but they should never say it. "Other people" aren't getting their obscene paycheck to make those plays. https://t.co/96siAKJVNz

It was an unnecessary turnover from the Dolphins. However, head coach Mike McDaniel claimed that the Dolphins have no time to dwell on those mistakes. Their job is to learn from it and try not to repeat it in future games.
For now, a third consecutive playoff appearance since 2001 seems like a far-fetched dream. As things stand, Tagovailoa’s first season after signing a mammoth four-year, $212.4 million contract will end in a tenth-place finish in the AFC.
