“We can deliver it” Turki Alalshikh announces the possibility of ‘dream fight’ between Gervonta Davis and Naoya Inoue

Gervonta Davis and Naoya Inoue are easily two of the best stars in boxing currently. This is because both fighters have a massive fanbase in their home countries and across the world. Hence, they have been matched against each other by fans, even though they belong to different weight classes. Subsequently, if certain terms can be worked out between the two fighters, Turki Alalshikh will be willing to step in and help arrange a mega-fight between them.
Furthermore, the only thing stopping the undefeated WBA lightweight champion and the undefeated junior featherweight champion from fighting is their weight classes. However, Davis has repeatedly expressed an interest in making a mega-fight happen with the Japanese boxer. As such, Alalshikh has stepped forward with a proposal for them.

Alalshikh intends to make the best fights happen by pairing the best fighters against each other. In addition, Saudi Arabia’s Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority called the matchup one of his dream fights. Hence, his offer and involvement can make the fight a reality.
During the interview, Alalshikh also mentioned several other dream fights that he wanted to organize. This included Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua, Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford, and David Benavidez vs. Artur Beterbiev or Dmitry Bivol. Since his excellency has been able to deliver the fights that fans have wanted for years, the above matchups can potentially happen.
Turki Alalshikh wants Ariel Helwani and Dana White to end beef
It’s no secret that Dana White has had a sour relationship with Ariel Helwani in recent times. While the two have been at odds for years, Alalshikh wishes to mediate peace between them. As such, during their recent interview, Saudi Arabia’s Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority spoke about this.
Helwani got into hot water with White after breaking the news that Brock Lesnar was set to face Mark Hunt at UFC 200. He did this just hours before the start of UFC 199. Subsequently, Ariel Helwani was kicked out of the arena. He was then banned from future UFC events.
The ban only lasted two days before being lifted, but the damage to Helwani’s relationship with White was already done. Turki Alalshikh directly spoke about this matter and expressed his intent to work with Helwani and White in the future.
