With SummerSlam 2024 approaching, WWE is going through its most exciting phase right now. Fans are getting to witness some of the most thrilling storylines and matches in every PLE. As the biggest event of the summer approaches in a few months, some top matches have already been earmarked for SummerSlam, involving stars like Cody Rhodes and LA Knight.
Dave Meltzer from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that two matches are currently earmarked for the second biggest event of the year. He stated that Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa and Logan Paul vs. LA Knight are designated for SummerSlam 2024, not for Money in the Bank. Of course, the initial steps toward both storylines have been taken on recent WWE shows.
When The American Nightmare defeated AJ Styles in the “I Quit” match at Clash at the Castle, The Bloodline attacked him later. Thankfully, Randy Orton and Kevin Owens came to his rescue and managed to fend them off. The three babyfaces will likely wrestle Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa in a 6-man tag team match at Money in the Bank.
Meanwhile, Logan Paul found himself in an awkward situation when he saw LA Knight chilling in his pool. The Megastar made it clear that he wanted the United States Championship, but the champ denied it, saying Knight wasn’t on his level. Speaking of SummerSlam, two matches are already official, as the King and Queen of the Ring tournament winners, Nia Jax and Gunther, will have a chance to win the world title.
LA Knight sent a message regarding Logan Paul on social media ahead of SmackDown
The rivalry between the two megastars only escalated after Knight invaded the champ’s house. After competing in the Tetris Championship, the 29-year-old star returned to his home in Puerto Rico. Despite their awkward confrontation at his house, The Megastar is excited to see Logan on the upcoming episode of SmackDown.
Knight took to X to question whether the United States Champion would show up to work or not. Fans recently trolled Logan for having few title defenses during his reign, which has just surpassed 200 days. He replied to all the critics by saying he works smarter, not harder.

The social media star won the U.S. Title by controversially defeating Rey Mysterio at Crown Jewel. He continued to wear the belt around his waist after beating Owens at the Royal Rumble. His last title defense came at WrestleMania XL, where he defeated The Prizefighter and Orton in a Triple Threat match. Fans are eager to see Knight and Logan engage in a heated physical fight, which could propel their rivalry to new heights.
